Which On-Line Banking Service Applies to me?
The "Personal Banking" service selection applies to personal checking
account customers with or without bill pay. Select this option to view
personal account balances and activity, to transfer funds between personal
accounts and to pay bills. This service also allows you to transfer funds to
external accounts.
The "Business View Only" service selection applies to small business checking
account customers. Select this option to view business account balances and
activity and to transfer funds between business accounts.
The "Business Cash Management" service selection applies to business or
consumer checking account customers with bill pay. Select this option to view
account balances and activity, to transfer funds between external accounts, pay
bills, handle payroll, make tax payments, etc.

Why don't all of my accounts show in On-Line Banking?
Account access in On-Line banking is determined by your status as
an account "owner" and an account "signer". You must be an account
owner/co-owner and signer in order for that account to be accessible via
On-Line Banking. This change became effective November 1st, 2006.
Please contact your branch of account if you believe that an account should
be accessible and it is not.

Can I transfer money between my personal accounts?
Yes. You must be an owner and a signer on all of the
accounts.

Can I transfer funds between my personal and business
accounts?
Yes. You must be an owner/co-owener and a signer on all of the accounts and
you must be a Business Cash Management service customer.

Can I transfer funds to and from non-Islanders Bank accounts?
Yes. You must be an owner and a signer on all of the accounts and you must
be a Business Cash Management service customer.


Can I change my On-Line Banking Service Type?
Yes. Islanders Bank will work with you to establish the On-Line Banking service
you need. Please contact your branch of account for assistance with changing
On-Line Banking service levels.

What is Internet (On-Line) Banking?
Internet Banking services with Islanders Bank is an easy and convenient way to
access your banking accounts without going to the bank. Islanders Bank Internet
banking is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your
personal computer.

What are the computer system requirements for On-Line Banking?
For Personal & Business View Only Customers, browser requirements are:
Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher
IE for MAC 5.2 and higher
Safari
Fire Fox
Opera
Netscape 6.1 and higher

For Business Cash Management Customers, browser requirements are:
Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher
IE for MAC 5.2 and higher

What Can I do with Internet Banking?
You can access your checking, savings, debit cards, line of credit, certificate of
deposits, or loans to verify balances, transfer money between accounts*, and
export data to your personal financial software**.

*Some restrictions apply to transfers.
**Limited to Quicken, Quickbooks & Microsoft Money

What does Internet Banking cost?
Internet banking is free to our customers! Excluding special handling fees for
online bill pay.

Is Internet Banking confidential and secure?
YES! Islanders Bank and our provider have incorporated the latest security into our
Internet Banking system to ensure both privacy and security. We require passwords,
data encryption and multi-factor authentication.
What is data encryption?
Encryption is a secure process for keeping your sensitive and confidential information
private. It is a process by which bits of data are mathematically jumbled with a
password-key. The Encryption process makes the data unreadable unless or until decrypted.
What is a mulitfactor authentication?
This is combining two or more authentication techniques together to form a stronger or more
reliable level of authentication. This usually involves combining two or more of the following
types: Secret - something the person knows Token - something the person has
Biometric - something the person is (e.g. finger print, eyeball scan).
What other steps can I take to protect myself?
Your Internet Banking user ID and password are one of the most important security features
for Internet Banking. Because you control the selection and how often you change your
password, you can help prevent unauthorized online access to your accounts.

What equipment do I need for Internet Banking?
To access Internet Banking you need Internet access and an Internet browser with a version
of 5.5 or higher. For optimum results we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0.
Does Internet Banking work with Quicken, Quickbooks& Microsoft Money?
Yes, it does. Data can be downloaded to a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or
to personal financial management software such as Quicken, Quickbooks or Microsoft Money
in a .qif file format.
