Loreen joined Islanders Bank in 2006 as a Senior Lending Officer. Her previous experience includes many years in commercial banking, credit administration, and loan review. Her greatest passion is service to the community through the lending process. She has served on the Orcas Center Board as Treasurer and is active in the local Lions Club where she has held board positions as Treasurer, Secretary, and 1st Vice President.

Rick joined Islanders Bank in 2015 as Vice President of Commercial Lending.  He has 12+ years of commercial lending experience, most recently as Vice President of a community bank in the state of Illinois.  Rick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1993.  In addition, he has 10+ years of experience in real estate development including construction of over 60 custom single family and town home residences.  Prior to his move to San Juan Island, Rick was very active in his community; serving on several church boards and volunteering at numerous local organizations.  He looks forward to getting involved in island life and building strong relationships with local businesses.

Bruce joined Islanders Bank in 2014 as a Senior Lending Officer.   He began his banking career 30+ years ago at a community bank here in the Pacific Northwest.   Bruce has held prior positions as a Loan Servicing Manager, Loan Review Officer and Special Credits Manager.   He has been an active participant in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event and North Puget Sound Dragon Boat Club and has also served as director of the Medical SafetyNet of North Whidbey Island.   Bruce looks forward to serving the San Juan Islands community through his vast experience in lending and strong dedication to community service projects.

Mike joined Islanders Bank in 2011 as a Senior Lending Officer. His 13+ years of banking experience include several years in credit administration as a senior commercial credit analyst. Mike has an MBA from Western Washington University and has completed several professional education programs, including a certificated course in commercial real estate from the University of Washington. A long-time island resident, Mike has volunteered with a number of community organizations, including serving on the Board of the San Juan Pilots Association and the San Juan Public Schools Foundation.

AJ joined Islanders Bank in 2015 as a Home Loan Officer.   She has worked in residential and commercial lending for 17+ years and specializes in 1st time home purchases and emerging markets.   AJ’s lending experience includes processing, funding, originating and underwriting residential, consumer and commercial loans as well as appraisal review.  She has volunteered her expertise to the Boys & Girls Club and Junior Achievement which both provide young community members with life and career skills.  AJ is looking forward to assisting island community members in achieving their home ownership goals.

Shari joined Islanders Bank in October 2012 where she manages the Loan Operations Department, including loan systems and lending compliance for all bank staff. Prior to joining Islanders Bank she held positions as Compliance Officer, CRA Officer, Privacy Officer, and Loan Servicing Manager. Her prior experience includes over thirty years in banking at two other community banks in Washington State. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in accounting from Edmonds Community College. She is also a graduate of the first class of the Washington Bankers Association Executive Development Program.
