Economic Impact Payments: IRS to launch “Get My Payment” tool
The IRS has announced an upcoming tool which will allow tax payers to do the following:
- Check economic impact payment status
- Confirm payment type; direct deposit or check
- Enter bank account info for direct deposit if the IRS doesn’t have it or if payment hasn’t been received yet

Be cautious and protect yourself from scams. Watch for potential scams attempting to exploit the heightened concern and uncertainty associated with novel coronavirus, including scammers pretending to be from Islanders Bank. Remember, we will never ask for your account or card number, CVV, PIN or other personal financial information because we already have them on file. If you’re unsure, hang up and call back using a telephone number for Islanders Bank from our website or one you already have.

Effective Monday, March 16, Islanders Bank’s lobbies will be closed until further notice. Please conduct your banking transactions through our drive-up window. Our drive-up windows will be open until 5 PM, Monday – Thursday and until 6 PM on Friday. to help all our customers complete their daily transactions. Mobile & Online Banking are available to our customers, if you have not yet established these banking methods, please call us. Be ready to provide your Security Code over the phone.
Washington’s Governor Inslee has asked retail establishments to limit occupancy to reduce the potential spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Islanders Bank wants to be responsive to the Governor’s request and safeguard the health of our community.

At Islanders Bank, we value the health and safety of our communities, customers and employees. In light of recent concerns about novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are monitoring and following all CDC and health department prevention recommendations.
Customers are encouraged to stay home if you’re ill. Islanders Bank offers 24/7 online & mobile banking tools enabling most transactions to be facilitated online as well as in-person. If a customer is feeling ill but feels compelled to conduct an in-person transaction, we encourage you to use our drive-up teller windows.
Our employees are trained on proper hygiene to prevent respiratory illness and are instructed to stay home when ill. Standard procedures include frequent cleaning of high-touch surfaces, including ATMs, drive up windows, counters, door handles and client waiting areas. We also have hand sanitizer throughout our branches and for customer use.
Islanders Bank has a Pandemic Plan, and we are actively taking steps to respond to disruptions brought about by COVID-19. Our pandemic preparedness and response procedures assist us in maintaining employee and customer safety while allowing for the continued operation of our bank. We test our plan regularly, which helps us ensure that it will serve us appropriately when we need it.
